David Sturgiss

David Sturgiss is a Non-Executive Director of the Social Research Centre, as well as several other entities in the education sector. These Non-Executive appointments followed a career in senior financial and general management roles in education, the media and health sectors, including 10 years as Chief Finance Officer at the Australian National University, up until 2014.

David has held industry and corporate board roles for more than 25 years. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Finance & Treasury Association.
