Evaluation
Measuring and evaluating program or intervention outcomes enables a robust, evidence-based assessment of effectiveness and hence is a central part of the policy-making process. We undertake a range of formative and summative evaluation work, examining implementation and impact from various stakeholder perspectives using a mix of qualitative and quantitative approaches.
Our work has contributed to the evaluation of initiatives such as Work for the Dole, Transition to Work, ParentsNext and the National Disability Insurance Scheme. We have also evaluated some prominent social marketing and health promotion campaigns including areas such as tobacco control (for example, the plain packaging of tobacco products), illicit drugs, physical activity, diet and nutrition, obesity and vaccination programs.
