Finn Pratt AO PSM

Finn brings insight from a 36-year career in the Australian Public Service helping to set the strategic direction of the company and ensure that the Social Research Centre continues to deliver on its mission to inform decision-making and advance understanding of society through world-class social research and evaluation.

Finn served in multiple public service leadership roles including as CEO of Centrelink (2008) and as Secretary for the Department of Human Services (2009-11), the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (2011-13), the Department of Social Services (2013-17), and the Department of Environment and Energy (2017-19). He also served as Chair of the Australia New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) from 2015-2017 and was awarded an AO for his work on the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
